Career & Personal Highlights

Picture
I created the KIND Snack & Give Back Project, a multi-year program to inspire kindness and empathy. Through the project, KIND wears its heart on its wrapper by showcasing custom bar designs in support of communities that haven’t received their fair share of kindness. As the project founder, I created KIND's first product-profits-donation model and to date the project has donated $175,000 to various communities in need of more kindness and empathy.

I concepted, produced and organized the largest rainbow light tribute EVER in New York City - twice! - to honor LGBTQ+ rights history and community members. For KIND's Pride program, I lead everything from making the bar to pitching reporters.

I ADORE the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest non-profit organization aiding LGBTQ+ homeless youth. Leaning into my role at KIND has allowed me to make a bigger impact for others, far more than I could do on my own.

Two years in a row, I served as the KIND Pride media and event spokesperson for broadcast interviews including Cheddar, New York City PIX11, NBC, ABC, CBS and Time Out New York.

In 2020, my colleague and I accepted the Ali Forney Center's Corporate Partner of the Year award at their annual gala. The award meant so much to me, as the work we do is helping those most vulnerable: homeless LGBTQ+ youth. It was a night filled with inspiration and importance! I'm proud to be a small part of the vibrant community.

In 2021, I created busties, a community safe space for busty people. This is my passion project and it's been so rewarding to play a small part in helping people feel seen, heard and empowered. I know a community like busties would've made a huge difference in my own physical and emotional development, and that's where my passion comes from.

In 2021, I joined KIND's DEI team for a week of mentoring with students at HBCU Florida A&M University. It was such a magical and important experience!

I have performed in 'The Vagina Monologues', several times because it's a ground-breaking production, supporting women & trans women, that I believe in.

I was featured in MSNBC's segment about NYC ice cream spots.

In 2017, I led Trojan's 'Protect Your Wang' campaign and earned an Edelman "Eddy" Award for the program's creativity and excellent results.

For the launch of XOXO by Trojan in 2017, I managed all media relations and introduced model Nadia Aboulhosn to the brand.

Writing

I've written press releases for KIND from 2019 to today. You can check them out here. Also, sharing a snapshot of my writing from KIND's rainbow light display, copy that comes right from my heart.
