Welcome to my little space of communications magic! I am delighted that you're here to learn more about little ol' me, especially my career journey, accomplishments and what fuels my work.
After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2014, I moved to New York City to pursue an exciting career in PR and channel my inner Samantha Jones. My determination took me to Edelman, the largest PR agency in the world. During my 3+ years at Edelman, I collaborated with top brands like Chobani, Unilever and Trojan Brands.
From there, I moved "in-house" and spent 5 years at the maker of your favorite healthy & tasty snacks, KIND Snacks. At KIND I really "grew up" as a communications professional and learned to bet on myself. From my KIND experience, I am most proud of creating the KIND Snack & Give Back Project, a program that has donated over $500,000 to communities in need, leading all of the brand's experiential activations and external communications from 2021 - 2023 and serving as a KIND Spokesperson appearing in broadcast interviews as well as online and print media.
After an awesome experience at KIND, I lived my dream of consulting full-time for health & wellness brands, most notably for GT's Living Foods, the maker of the first-ever and best-selling bottled kombucha, SYNERGY: The Real Kombucha. During this time, I provided integrated marketing & earned media strategies, including for New York Fashion Week activations and product launches, written media materials and brand coverage from outlets such as Business Insider and Allure.
Thanks to a great collaboration with GT's Living Foods, I joined the company full-time in March 2025 and made the big move from NYC to LA to join the team in-person. At GT's, I lead both external and internal communications as a one-woman show with no agency support, working directly with the Founder & CEO. Under my leadership, I have secured 6B+ earned media impressions across its 7 brands. I secure earned conversation by leaning into cultural conversations from seasonality to executing very timely pop culture news moments. For example, we moved at the speed of social to secure a partnership with demure TikTok star, Jools Lebron, which resulted in coverage from Mashable, UsWeekly and USAToday as well as a culturally relevant Erewhon smoothie collaboration with Kendall Jenner, which boosted product sales and secured coverage from PEOPLE, Elite Daily and Food Network. In addition to consumer-friendly news initiatives, I also lead corporate and crisis communications and work closely with the social media team to amplify stories.
I can sincerely say that I enjoy what I do. I take my craft seriously and execute with everything I have, because IMO, that's the only way to do it. I love collaborating with people. I love challenging the status quo, being the talk of the town and creating work that MEANS something. When I first created my portfolio website (where you are right now!) in 2015, I wrote - "I genuinely believe that communications can change the world." And guess what? I still believe that! I want to use my skills to make the world around us a better place and do it with a smile on my face.
Outside of my professional career, I spend a lot of time being active (I love running), traveling, spending time outside (this is very important to me as a Cali newbie!) reading and making the most out of my life.
