![]() Looking for a fun way to bond with colleagues, media, peers or new found friends? Lace up those shoes and hit the pavement! Today, I ran Women's Health Magazine and FEED's Run10Feed10 race in NYC with my Edelman teammates. The race aims to raise awareness of hunger in America. By participating, each runner provides 10 meals for hungry people in our hometown of New York. Thus far, the race has supplied 3.75 million meals to Americans in need. Although it was rough to wake up at 5:00 a.m. on a Sunday, it was beyond worth it! My colleagues and I crossed the finish line beaming with pride (and sweat!) and were able to feel good about a task that was not career related. After, the race had cheeky photo booths to cool down with! We snapped away and of course, shared away on social media. The next time you're looking for a different way to bond or network, try a fitness class or a race! If cardio is not your thing, give yoga a try! Network and sneak a workout in at the same time?! Now, that's a smart win-win!
